    Another important factor to keep in mind when you encounter groupthink, is not to come across as combative or defensive. Learn to make suggestions by asking good questions and also by asking people how they’ll feel about taking a different route/ doing something in a different way. If you want to make a case for why you think it will work, have your facts ready so that you can make a compelling case.
    Avoiding groupthink sometimes takes courage and (always) self-confidence. Practice those, and don’t compromise your values.
